Still knitting :)

A héten egy kisebb baleset következtében részben járóképtelenné küzdöttem magam. Járni tudok, csak hosszútávon nem, így egyelőre a lakás foglya lettem. Ezt kihasználandó kötögetek, és persze papírmunkát tudok csinálni, úgyhogy nem uatkozom :)

I had a little accident this week and now I need to stay home with my injured leg. I can walk but I must stay inside my home for some weeks. Nothing seriously. I can make my paperworks and knit a lot :)

Természetesen miért ne a legnagyobb hőségben küzdenék Marámmal? Gyapjú-teveszőr keverék fonal, nem kicsit fűt... :D De, márcsak pár sor van, viszont még így is pihentetem, és egy másikba is belekezdtem :) Sőt, egy harmadik is van a láthatáron, amit tesztkötök - igen, kezdőként, mert épp ez a cél, hogy kideüljön, így is menni fog-e :) Remélem... :)

I'm working on my Mara shawl - of course in the hottest day :D We had heat the last days... And I started another shawl and will start one more what I will test knit as a beginner to know am I able to knit that one? I'm sure, yes... I hope so!

 Nemsokára festeni fogok,amint a lábam gyógyul, mert tervem van ám ezzel is... Lesznek kötőfonalaim, kidsilkek, merino-k, még meglátjuk, mi más :)
Remélem, hogy legkésőbb augusztusban debütál néhány selyemhímző is :)

As soon as my leg let me dye I will dye again, I have my to-do list, I will dye yarns too, and I hope at least in August I can show some silk threads too :)

My first knitted shawl finished :)

Tulajdonképpen a második kendőm, amit kötöttem, de az első, amit be is fejeztem (az elsőnek még a szegélye visszavan). Sokkal látványosabb is, mint félkész elsőkém, mert ez csipkés, az meg nem :)

Abszolúte imádtam kötni, és teljesen bizonyos vagyok benne, hogy még jónéhányszor meg fogom kötni más fonalakból. Nem unalmas, legalábbis egy percét nem untam! Jajj de jó, hogy kész :)

Exactly it's my second knitted shawl but the first I finished. My second one is 3/4 way finished only... And it is more beautiful because it is a lace-edged shawl. It was a real pleasure to knit! I enjoyed so much! I'm sure I will knit this shawl more times :) And now I'm so happy I finished :)

Holden Shawlette and some yarn dyeing

Már elég nagy a kendő, de még a tizedik egység csipkét lekötöm, és leláncolom. Eredetileg 4 egység csipkével lenne, de szerintem úgy elég kicsi, még nyakbavalónak is. Könnyű kötni, gyorsan megjegyezhető a mintája, és tényleg ideális kezdő kötőknek, kezdő csipkekötőknek!

My shawl is big enough but before I bind off I'll finish the 10th unit of lace rows. The pattern has 4 unit of lace rows, but in that size the shawl would be small, I think. So I increase it.

Patterns is very easy, it's great for beginner knitters and beginner lace knitters!

Did you know you can find great yarns for sale on ravelry? Many knitters would sell some of they stashed yarns in a better price than I would purchase from a non-hungarian webshop. Because in my place there's no store where I can find these yarns, I took a try and my yars are...

És festettem is :) Ezúttal kötőfonalakat. Még csak próbálgatom, kis 50 méteres gombócokat gyártok, tesztelem a színeket, azok keverhetőségét, stb. Az egyetlen kivétel a kidsilk, az normál méretű, 400 méteres :)

And I dyed some... yarns, this time. I'm trying the colours, mix them, etc. Sample yarns are about 50m long only except the kidsilk what is "normal length", 400m.

A képek kicsit komorak, de annyira be volt borulva, hogy ennél jobbakat nem tudtam készíteni.

Photos seem a bit dark but there was no sunshine that day I took photos... sorry.

New colours

Egy kisebb íngyulladás után festettem néhány új színt...

Ide a jelenlegi kedvencemet teszem most csak, de a szokásos helyén láthatjátok az újakat :)

After a wrist inflammation I could dye new colours again... Here I show my this-time favorite but you can see all others on my thread-post :)

Little Women, Holden Shawlette, stash

Kezd visszatérni a hímzős kedvem, elsőként ezt a kedves kis mintát hímeztem meg. Amikor Isobel hírlevelében láttam, beleszerettem, megvettem hát. Igaz, nem rohamléptekben, de elég hamar elkészült. Összesen talán egy hétig dolgoztam rajta, esténként, nem sokat.

Szeretem, kedves nekem. Azt hiszem, majd bekeretezem... vagy doboz legyen? Nem tudom :)

I think my stitching mojo is coming back... First, when I saw this lovely design in the newsletter of Isobel I fell in love so I felt I must purchase ASAP. I have stitched it about a week long, in the evenings only. Slow work but I wanted to enjoy long time :) I did not decide how will I finish... as a picture? Or... as a box? Still hesitating...

Florentine nagyon jól írta, hogy ez kifejezetten kezdőknek való kendő. Majd meglátjuk. A kendőtest valóban elég egyszerű, majd a csipkénél kezd érdekes lenni :)

Christmas Collection - 6th: Sleigh

Elérkeztünk az év feléhez, már ami a 12 db-os kitsorozatunkat illeti :)

Szívből reméljük Barbival, hogy még mindig tetszik Nektek és idén Karácsonyra sokan mutatjátok majd a csodás fátokat, ezekkel (is) díszítve!

Here is the 'half point' - I mean the 12 needlerolls, this is the 6th, so it is the half of the way. Barbi and I hope you still like the tiny designs and we can see a lot of posts about the rolls on your Christmas tree before Christmas!
