Egy fészbúkos barátom megkért, hogy készítsek valami méltót a közeledő házassági évfordulójukra. Több minta is szóba jött, emelett szólt azonban, hogy már félig meghímeztem, hetedik érzékből :)

Mónikának megtetszett, remélem, keretben méltó ajándék lesz a párjának :)

A friend of mine on facebook asked me to make something beautiful for her and her husband's marriage anniversary. I have shown her more designs, she has choosen this one which was half-finished. Do I have a seventh sense because I have started to stitch it weeks ago? :)

I hope this picture in a perfect frame will be the greatest gift to her husband :)

Befejeztem :)) Nem volt egy nagy valami, mégis sokáig csak néztem...

Mostanában nagyon rapszodikusan hímzek. Ha látok egy új design-t, ötletet, azonnal azt akarom és nem érdekelnek a többiek. Aztán a fellángolás alábbhagy és visszatérek a régiekhez. Más is van így ezzel..?

I've finished! This was not a big design but I had more days when I was seeing it not stitching... My stitching mojo is so rhapsodic. When I see a new design or great idea I want that immediately and want to start but later I go back to my older projects... Are you feeling the same..?

Haladgatok a szépséges virágos mintácskámmal is, már egész belejöttem a miniben való hímzésbe is, 40-es lenen... Bár ahol tömör részek vannak, a nőci körül, eléggé feszíti szét az anyagot a fonal, vastag miniben ennyire sűrű anyagon. Ettől függetlenül szerintem nagyoin szép lesz!

I was working on my other WIP, I really love this design, so beautiful and I think m colors make it more nice. I like to stitch it, on over one too, but dmc thread is too thick to stitch 1 over 1 on 40ct. But I still love it :)

TUSAL and WIPs

Ányi jóvoltából megtaláltam a TUSAL kezdeményezést, olvassátok el Daffycat blogján, jó móka :) Már tavaly is egész évben gyűjtöttem a fonalvégeket, amik hímzéskor elkerülhetetlenül keletkeznek. Sőt, én beledobtam az üvegembe azon darabokat is, amit ki kelltt bontanom, és mivel bontani utálok, inkább csak vágom ezt a részt. És került bele 2 fonalpapír is, amik elfogytak a papírról. Nem nagy üveg, 2009-ben érdemesebb lett volna gyűjtsek :)

I have found Daffycat's TUSAL through by Ányi, and I joined for this year.

I have collected my thread clippings all the year long in 2010, here is a picture about them. Not a big jar, but I hope this year's will be bigger :)

Last year I have put into the expanded thread clippigs too and 2 paper tags.

Gifts and stash :)

Tegnap klassz napom volt, sokat mászkáltam a városban, Enivel beugrottunk a Borókába is, ráadásul, mire hazaértem, szép kis csomagocska várt rám Mademoiselle-től :) és egy másik a Casa Cenininától. Hétvégén keretem is lett a két madaramnak (Frederick és majd Frederika, ha végre lesz időm meghímezni), úgyhogy egy szavam se lehet :) Szép sorban mutatom a képeket...

I had a great day yesterday, I was walking in the city and enjoyed the sunshine, met with Eni and we went to visit a home decor shop called Boróka. I have bought some decorations and after I arrived home I have seen I got 2 packages, one is from Mademoiselle (Anita), the other is from Casa Cenina. Last weekend I got my frames for my birds Frederick and Frederika (I hope I will have time to stitch Frederika soon). So... here are the pictures to show my joy :)

Tényleg nem kellett sok a befejezéshez, és kész is lett, még tegnap :)
Amúgy haladós darab, de nem kapkodtam el. A lánykát sem fogom :)
Elkezdtem a keretét, de aztán másra cseréltem, és mégsem Frederikát hímzem most.
Majd készen lesz ő is :)

I have finished my bird! I have finished yesterday and now I just see and see...
I love this bird. Love its colors. Love those fine silks! It is not a big project, but I
didn't want to be in a hurry with him and I won't stitch quickly Frederika too.
I have started Frederika but now I'm working on something else. I have time to finish her,
why do I need to be in a hurry? :))

Frederick - ready to fly?

Megvisel a hőség, de kit nem? Rémesen nyűgös vagyok, de próbálom magam lefoglalni.
Ehhez, úgy látszik, az egyik mód az, ha hímzek... Ami nem lenne furcsa, de ha azt vesszük, hogy
az idei évben mennyire nem teszem ezt, akkor kész csoda :D
Most picit van kedvem hímezni, és Freddy barátomat vettem elő, tegnap sokáig böködtem,
és egy fél órája itt tartottam vele... Csak egy gyors helyzetjelentés :)

I am not feeling so good because of this hot weather... Do you like the hot summer?
I like the good weather but this is too much for me... I don't feel good myself, and
try to force myself not think about it so I am stitching. This is not strange but you know
in this year I haven't been stitching a lot... But it seems I find some mood to do this so
I am working on my friend Freddy :) Photo was taken 30 minutes ago... :)

Frederick - progress, and a new blog

Bár csak pár nap múlva akartam megmutatni csekélyke kis haladásom, de

minta kedvelőinek :) De előbb a madaram :)

Imádom a fonalait! Eleve nagyon szeretem a selymeket, ezek is varázslatosan szépek,
puhák, kellemes tapintásúak és isteni hímezni velük :) Ahogy nézem, jócskán marad majd
más dolgokra is belőlük :))

I adore silks! I adore almost all pure silk threads, and these are so fine, soft and great to stitch with them! I'm glad I can use the rest for other small projects :)

Szóval, ahogy írtam, csináltam egy blogot a CHS és Barrick design szerelmeseinek.
Ha Te is szereted ezeket a mintákat, és már hímeztél is (vagy épp most hímzel), és szeretnéd itt is megmutatni, írj mélt nekem, hogy adhassak meghívót.

"A Very Big Announcement

I have some news to share with you. After much soul searching, I've decided to close the doors of Carriage House Samplings. My heart is no longer in my sampler business and rather than continue and produce designs which are not my best work, I've decided I'd rather end my business all together.
This isn't a decision I've made lightly. I've reached a place in my life where I'm ready to make a change and to pursue other interests. I may return to designing one day, I truly don't know. I don't plan to close any doors permanently. I've made so very many friends in my 12 years of designing. There are many, many stitchers, shopowners, distributors and fellow designers I will miss dearly. I hope to stay in touch with as many of you as possible.
I do have a plan! I will continue to sell to shops and my distributors until July 1, 2010. After that, I will list any and all charts I still have available on my Etsy Site and sell there until December 31, 2010. My charts will no longer be available beginning January 1, 2011.
For your 12 years of support and friendship I am very, very grateful. "


Annak, aki nem értené, röviden: visszavonul a tervezéstől, és júliusig elérhetőek a mintái
az egyes webshopokban, üzletekben, év végéig a saját etsy-jében is kaphatóak lesznek,
de januártól már sehol nem lesznek kaphatóak a mintái.

Frederick is growing slowly...

Olyan jó volt olvasni a sok kedves hozzászólást a madárkámhoz, belelkesültem,
és lefotóztam, azóta mennyit nőtt. Mostmár gyorsan menne, ha lenne több időm rá,
mert pár apró körítést leszámítva a madár maga van vissza. Aztán jöhet a csaja :)

I was glad to read your kind comments on my Frederick's post so I thought
I show you again he is growing slowly... :) If I have more time I can finish him quick,
then I can start his wife, Frederika :)

Különösebben nem ünnepelem a húsvétot, és valahogy dekorálni sincs most hangulatom.
Viszont ez a pici nyuszi már jóideje tetszik, úgyhogy most... lesz belőle talán egy pinkeep.

I don't celebrate Easter and now I don't have mood to decorate my home. But I like
this tiny bunny long time so I have stitched it now. I1ll finish maybe as a pinkeep.
